Sometimes I wonder if there is a mature kind of love… so subtle and secretive. One tries to love another person in a different way. One doesn’t admit it, but both of them can feel it. They don’t need to always be together, but they understand each other well. He can easily notice what’s wrong before she says a lot, and vice versa. She knows when to back down and give space. He knows when to offer support to her when necessary. They are actually subconsciously avoiding each other because they know they can’t be together. But they maintain that secret admiration of each other anyway. When they talk, it always feels like they’ve created a special space that only they can feel the magic. Truth is they will never be together. But they love each other subtly and just hope to support each other whenever necessary. A mature way of loving someone.

Immature love says: I love you because i need you, but mature love says: i need you because i love you. And that’s what really counts.
